The Assa Abloy Protec2 is a Keying System technology platform.

Protec2 is applicable across a range of different Key Systems whether they be Key Alike, Master Key or individually key systems, the Protec2 platform is suited to most locks available within the Australian market.

The Assa Abloy Protec2 locking system is patent protected until 2031, achieving patent protection well into the future.

Patented until 2031, the technology boasts Assa Abloy's exclusive rotating disc cylinder system which alleviates cylinder springs and pins. Additionally, the systems has an Australian design registered until 2021, is durable, virtually pick proof and employs other exclusive Assa Abloy features such as the patented Anti Wear System (AWS) and Disc Blocking System (DBS).
